Refund Policy

This policy explains when and how we refund payments for DropLaunch OS subscriptions. It applies in addition to your statutory consumer-protection rights under EU law.
1. Monthly subscriptions
Monthly plans are charged in advance for the upcoming month.
- You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- No partial-month refunds are issued — you keep access (and any unused credits) until the cycle ends.
- For technical failures attributable to us that prevent you from using the Service for more than 24 consecutive hours, contact support — we'll credit the affected period.
2. Annual subscriptions
Annual plans are charged in advance for the entire year at the discounted rate.
- First-time annual purchase — 14-day full refund: if you cancel within 14 days of your first annual purchase, you get a full refund regardless of credit usage. This satisfies the EU consumer right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU.
- After 14 days — prorated refund: if you cancel after the 14-day window but within the first 6 months, we refund the remaining months on a prorated basis, minus the value of credits actually consumed (calculated at standard monthly pricing).
- After 6 months: no refund. You retain access through the end of the annual term.
- Annual renewals follow the same rules as the original purchase — a new 14-day window opens at each renewal.
3. Statutory right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
As an EU consumer purchasing digital services, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.
Exception: when you start using the Service (consuming credits) before the 14-day period ends, you expressly authorise immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for the credits already consumed, in line with Art. 16(m) of the same Directive. For annual plans we honour the 14-day full-refund regardless of consumption (see section 2 above) as a goodwill gesture.
4. How to request a refund
Send an email to support@droplaunch.me with:
- The email address of your DropLaunch OS account
- The Stripe invoice number (or approximate date of the charge)
- A brief reason (helps us improve; not strictly required for in-window refunds)
We process eligible refunds within 7 business days via Stripe to the original payment method. Refund processing time depends on your bank (typically 3-10 business days).
5. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please email us first — chargebacks bypass the refund process and incur fees that hurt small businesses. If you initiate a chargeback before contacting us, your account will be suspended until the dispute is resolved.
6. AI-generated outputs are non-refundable per se
Once an AI generation completes successfully, the credits consumed are non-refundable — even if you don't like the output. You can regenerate (will consume credits again) or tweak inputs and try again. If a generation fails for technical reasons on our side, we refund the credits automatically; no action needed.
